Dr. Otto will highlight how remote medical care settings on Earth are shaping the development of advanced health technologies and clinical care capabilities for human spaceflight.  Learn why ultrasound on Mt. Everest is aiding astronauts on the International Space Station, how remote duty medical care at the South Pole Station in Antarctica is influencing space medicine, and why  remote telesurgery  in the high arctic will help future crews on Mars.
