Personalized Medicine: a 21st Century Countermeasure Against Becoming Lost in Space
* Describe NSBRI / BCM / NASA driven Astro-Omics projects, as a first step towards employing personalized medicine in space.
* Discuss the pernicious space radiation environment, from the perspective of individual vulnerabilities - including differences between male and female astronauts.
* Anchor the use of personalized medicine, including mitigating the health effects of space radiation, to a future Mars Flyby mission.
