TRISH Webinar Series – Tech Exploration in Space Health

TRISH began an informative webinar series early in 2018. The series - Tech Exploration in Space Health - is dedicated to exploring new and possibly groundbreaking medical advances, educating those excited about human space exploration, and promoting discussion about progressive and emergent health discoveries that can be used to keep astronauts safe during long-duration space flight. This carefully curated webinar series is designed to foster lively conversation among our virtual community by connecting renowned experts for an hour-long virtual presentation and interactive Q&A session with potential researchers and the general public.

The second episode is titled, “Using ultrasound to visualize and control CELLULAR function in the body” and will be presented by Dr. Mikhail Shapiro, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering and a Heritage Principal Investigator at the California Institute of Technology.
